ABOUT US
Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD) is a Vietnamese science and technology organization, working independently in the field of biodiversity study and conservation, sustainable forest management and sustainable development, ultimately harmonizing between the nature conservation and community development, between the people and biosphere in Vietnam
Vision
Conserve the values of nature and biodiversity. Promote the application of advanced science to improve the quality of the environment and local livelihoods. Contribute to the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of Vietnam and United Nations.
Mission
Ensure the harmony between conservation and development, people and nature. Protect and maintain the values of nature and biodiversity, raise awareness, capacity and responsibility for stakeholders.
OUR WORK
Forest and Natural Resources Governance
Support effective and sustainable governance and management of forests and natural resources
Protected Areas Governance
Protect forest habitats and ecosystems on limestone mountains, tropical evergreen forests, semi-deciduous forests, dipterocarp forests, grasslands/shrub and wetlands.
Nature and Biodiversity Conservation
Protect globally threatened species, endemic to Vietnam, species threatened by illegal trade and exploitation activities.
Combating Wildlife and Forest Crimes
Anti-poaching, control illegal logging and combating wildlife trafficking, support animal rescue and caring for rehabilitation
Tourism and Experience
Consulting for provinces, protected areas, national parks, forest owners; formulating sustainable and responsible tourism plans and projects; spreading the message of nature conservation and culture respect
Community Development
Develop sustainable livelihoods, support indigenous communities and people in buffer zones of protected areas, giving priority to women
Education and Outreach
Communicating and educating the community on biodiversity conservation and environmental protection.

Training and Capacity Building; Environment, Forest and Natural resources survey and inventory; Pilot Model formulation; Comparative and critical study
