Forest ecosystems, wetlands, estuaries, coastal areas and natural resources associated with those ecosystems have brought benefits to mankind and correspondingly depended communities in particular. In the climate change and disease outbreaks circumstances, these ecosystems are even more critical to ethnic minority and poor communities.
Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD) prioritizes and targets ethnic minority communities, the poor and disadvantaged people in order to stabilize their livelihoods together with protecting and sustainable use of natural resources, biodiversity and environment. This strategy is an effective and sustainable solution which helps the targeted groups effectively respond to natural disasters, pandemics and climate change.
