PILOT MODEL FORMULATION AND OPERATION

CCD with its best capabilities and strengths – has been supporting partners in designing, developing, and operating cooperative models in different fields. These models are proposed with innovative and holistic approaches with the idea of having effective management and operation schemes, and with a vision for scaling up. The cooperative’s missions are to strengthen the effectiveness of natural resources governance, create sustainable livelihoods for local communities living in and around protected areas. CCD is implementing and supporting models such as:

• Effective management for protected areas, biosphere reserve and heritage sites (SMART tools)
• Manage forest, natural resources management and monitoring with communities participation
• Ecotourism, community-based tourism
• Sustainable livelihood and adaptation with climate changes
