Tourism development for Na Hang Nature Reserve in the 2023 – 2025 period, vision to 2030

Tuyen Quang province has the remarkable combination of revolutionary history, beautiful landscape, and cultural exchange of the Northeast and Northwest with many tangible and intangible heritages. Na Hang lake is located in Na Hang Nature Reserve, on the area of Na Hang district and Lam Binh distric. The lake is reciprocally considered as Ha Long bay of Tuyen Quang, with majestic scenery of Na Hang Nature Reserve and home to endangered, precious and rare wildlife. The hamonization of nature, culture and history form potentials for Na Hang’s eco-tourism development, with the  livelihoods for local communities. However, the eco-tourism potentials are not discovered by many people.

To unveil and sustainably develop Na Hang tourism gems, Center for Nature Conservation and Development (CCD) cooperated with Na Hang Trading Investment and Tourism Service Co., Ltd to implement a tourism development plan, focusing in the Na Hang lake in the 2023-2025 period, vision to 2030. With the tourism development plan, the main targets are to increase the number of visitors by 2025 and 2030, operate tourism activities, develop tourist routes to become key tourist destinations of the province, while being a chance for improving local livelihoods and raising awareness of the public to protect and enjoy the beauty of Na Hang Nature Reserve.
